Hello Two Kings Games fans! We would like to release an update on where we are on the D4: Basic production. First thing’s first, we plan on releasing two versions of D4: Basic, a box (or deluxe) edition and a standard edition.

The Deluxe Edition will include the following:

• A Box
• The Rules & Scenario book (this will also include extra monsters for your own use)
• 11x17 reversible, wet-erase battle mat
• Wet-erase marker
• A deck of full-color treasure cards
• Full-color life tokens
• Full-color hero tokens (to be used with the battle mat)
• Full-color monster tokens (to be used with the battle mat)
• A set of gaming dice
• 4 4”x4” full-color hero mats
• 1 4”x4” full-color spell mat (for the wizard)

The Standard Edition will include:

• A resalable bag for storage (not 100% decided)
• The Rules & Scenario book (this will also include extra monsters for your own use)
• A deck of full color treasure cards
• Full color life tokens
• Full color hero tokens (to be used with your own battle mat)
• Full color monster tokens (to be used with your own battle mat)
• 4 4”x4” full-color hero mats
• 1 4”x4” full-color spell mat (for the wizard)

The reasoning behind this, is to allow those gamers that own a lot of gaming supplies (which are a lot of you) to not have to re-purchase all these items again, and instead purchase the standard edition at a lower price. But, if you want to get the full D4: Basic “open & play” experience you can purchase the deluxe edition and begin playing right out of the box! Unfortunately, we're unable to release any price points for these items, but we plan on trying to keep the costs as low as possible. In related news, we’re ramping up for the D4: Basic Kickstarter and hope to be in full swing within the next 6 months.
